Welcome, Thriving Women in Business Giving Community!
TRIFC launched this women’s empowerment group in 2014 to create a supportive community where adult deaf women can build friendships, reduce isolation, and develop skills to earn income. In Nepal, life can be especially isolating for deaf women—particularly after high school or college, when many leave their deaf school communities and return to home villages.
Through this program, women have created and sold embroidered greeting cards, sewn and distributed reusable sanitary kits, and participated in tailoring and other skills-based trainings. Just as important, they come together regularly to share their experiences, support one another, and build lasting connections with others who truly understand their challenges.
We are deeply grateful to TWIBGC for your continued support and generosity over the years. Your contributions have helped empower, energize, and uplift these women in ways that are truly invaluable.
