Blind/Visually-Impaired Support for children 15 children at Sanjiwani School, Dhulikhel, Nepal

Sanjiwani School in Dhulikhel, Nepal is home to approximately 1,200 students. 15 of these students are blind/visually-impaired and live in the hostel on the school campus. The Nepali government provides the bare minimum of funding for these students which doesn´t come anywhere to meeting the needs of these children. The lack the basic tools to be successful in their schooling. TRIFC is providing support in the area of school supplies, Braille paper, Braille Slate/Stylus, nutritional support, and music lessons.

We provide school sponsorships for some of the students as well as nutritional support, music lessons, volunteer art programs and other enhancements.

Nutritional Support by providing funding to the Dhulikhel Rotaract Club whose members visit once a week with fresh fruits, vegetables and proteins like chicken and eggs.
