The DNC Board of Directors met yesterday and due to the building damage they will be bringing out a structural engineer as soon as possible to determine if the building is safe for the children to move back in, or if it will need repairs first. In the meantime, the children are living under a tarp-tent. They have enough food and water for now, but we are all concerned about clean water and personal hygiene and germs if there isn’t proper hand-washing & toilet access. A huge ‘dhanyavad!’ (thank you!) to all of the ex-DNC students who came out after the earthquake and have been such a tremendous help for the kids and staff!
