ADSoN Executive Director, Ms. Nirmala Gyawali presented to 500 Nepali’s at Nepal Seattle Society’s- Maha Jatra Event! ADSoN is TRIFC’s direct partner organization in Nepal. MaHa refers to Madan Krishna Shrestha (MA) and Hari Bansha Acharya (HA), who are the most famous comedians in Nepal. They visited Seattle as part of a comedy troupe. They entertained the group with political and topical humor. Okay, Gina and I didn’t get all of the jokes as it was all in Nepali language, but the crowd went wild with laughter throughout the evening! Just prior to the comedy show, Nirmala gave a stirring presentation about TRIFC and ADSoN’s work helping people with disabilities in Nepal.
