A group of volunteers from Merrill Gardens retirement home in Kirkland, Washington provided much-needed help by filling out the required customs forms for sending boxes of Braille books to our TRIFC/ADSoN Braille Library in Nepal. My mom, Arlene was one of the participating volunteers and I guess you could say she was the ‘ring leader’!

The Washington State Braille Library regularly sends us their excess Braille books and TRIFC sends them to Nepal. The USPS ships materials for the Blind at no charge, so it’s a great value and these books gain new ‘life’ as valuable teaching and reading material in Nepal.
